Predictive Dialer Connection - WebPhone

This connection method will allow you to speak with callers through your computers default sound device.

The first time you join a calling campaign on the dialer from a new computer you be prompted with a message from your computer stating "Allow this program to use your default audio device" you must click "Allow". If you are not prompted or hear a faint ringing sound you will need to manually allow the dialer to user your default sound device by following the instructions below in Step #2 below

  To begin you will need to download and install Google Chrome https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html (if not already using it as your computers web browser)
  Next plug in your USB headset to your computer and be sure it is installed and working correctly
  Once you have verified your headset is working correctly go to your computers sound settings and set your headset and microphone as the default listening and recording devices on your computer Click here for instructions for Windows or Mac if you need help
  Now you will need to log into the dialer and click on the Admin Tab enable the webphone shown below.
(This will need to be done for each user and computer utilizing this as the preferred connection method)

 

 Then to the right of the specific user hover over the second icon from the left and click on Connection Settings

 

 Choose Web Phone

  Click Save Changes
  Log out to insure changes have taken effect in dialer, we suggest you restart your computer to be sure sound device changes fully take effect.

If you are not prompted for some reason i.e. pop up blocker or you simply didn't see the pop up here is a simple way to allow the interCloud9 dialer to user your computers default speaker and microphone / headset.

Step #2 Enable Audio Device Manually

Select Allow for the items shown below


** Please note only one user can be logged into the dialer in one tab in one browser on one computer at a time all other webphone connections will be blocked.
