Text Message Anti-Spam Policy

Our Anti Spam Policy was posted on 16 October 2011 and last updated on 10 May 2018.

Our Definition of Spam:

We consider any UNSOLICITED TEXT MESSAGES; NOTIFICATIONS or ALERTS as SPAM. InterCloud9 doesn’t tolerate text message SPAM, we only allow verified opt-in subscriptions. We do NOT allow the use of 3rd party lists, whether consent has been gathered or not.

Anti-Spam Policy Enforcement:

As per our Terms and Conditions, our Subscribers agree NOT to use InterCloud9 to send unsolicited Text Messages or Spam. All Text Messages sent using InterCloud9's messaging solution are tracked. We support OPT-OUT / STOP using text message additionally clients have the ability to add your number to a Do Not Call list and or remove your number(s) if you contact them directly. InterCloud9 restricts our Subscribers from texting a mobile number that has been previously Opted-Out or is a Blocked number in our system. If we suspect a violation of our Anti-Spam policy, we will contact the Client and discuss the Client options, which may range from a warning to termination of service for that Subscriber. To the best of our knowledge, our system adheres to ALL state and national laws regarding sending unsolicited mass text messages.

SPAM and ABUSE REPORT:

We ensure that all recipients can opt-out quickly, easily, and permanently from unwanted text message communications by texting STOP to the number you received an unsolicited test from. Please report unwanted messages or SPAM by submitting a contact request by clicking here so that we can correct the problem. Be sure to include your mobile number, along with the senders number, message date and time.  Your report will be registered and the Client will be investigated for violations of our Anti-Spam Policy. The identity of any individual reporting abuse will be kept confidential.
